Building on acreage communities is where Landmark Fine Homes started and Belleau Wood is one of the premiere acreage communities in the Northeast Edmond area. East of I-35 is the new hot spot for development. What was once thought of as being far out is now becoming a central hub for the Edmond area. Belleau Wood is located at Air Depot and Sorghum Mills. You will love the terrain that has not been disturb in this area. Hills and Trees are a plenty in this community.
The Ava plan at 5400 Janson will give you everything you are looking for in a home. The open concept floor plan with brick details fits wonderfully in Belleau Wood. 4 bedrooms with a great craft/study nook off the secondary bedrooms, a Master Retreat that you will never want to leave, a large kitchen with 2 islands and a large panty, plus a recreation room and media room make this home one that you will want to see.
The Devan Floor plan is one of the newest at Landmark Fine Homes. If you are making a map of which homes to see at this years Parade of Homes you will want to make sure this one is on the list! Craftsman Style takes center stage for this beauty. Barn Doors, Screened in Back Porch, Laundry off the Master and a Kitchen you will love to cook and entertain in is just the beginning of the wonderful things this home has to offer! You will love the location at The Reserve at Valencia which is off of NW 182nd and Pennsylvania. The Reserve offers a Community Cabana with Pool, Walking Trails, Parks and Ponds. This community truly has it all!
It is that time of the year that so many people love- Fall weather, Football, The kids are back to school and the PARADE OF HOMES! We are so excited with the line up we have this year. Landmark Fine Homes loves to show off new floor plans and designs and you will not be disappointed this year.
Our first feature home is our NEW MODEL at The Preserve at Parkside. You will love all the farmhouse details with the shiplap wall in the kitchen, brick detail in the half bath, rustic beams in the Master and a farmhouse sink in the kitchen. Stop by and see Greg Corn this weekend! All the homes will be open from 1:00-7:00 pm.
Michele and I recently built a house with Landmark Fine Homes, and we are really happy with what we consider our dream home. When we thought about leaving our home of 23 years, we researched, toured and talked to many home owners about their builders and the process of building a new home. We even toured older homes in other developments because we wanted to make sure that we would still be happy in 10-20 years after the "new house feeling" wears off. We felt comfortable that the houses and developments of Landmark Fine Homes seem to have stood the test of time. Our decision was easy, we decide on Landmark Fine Homes as our construction company.
After the initial meeting about floor plan availability, lot selection, and cost, the process began. We were given the basic plans and many options to adjust the plans as to fit to our specific needs and desires. We were surprised at the flexibility of the floor plans and the simple alteration that could be made. As we went through the design stage, Donna, Brett and Jason walked us through the design and expectations during the building process. Once everything was designed, we returned in a couple weeks to approve final design plans. This process was made easy by the years experience that Landmark Fine Homes brought to the table. This plan also provided us with the tentative dates and let us set our expectation for closing and moving.
As the actual construction took place, Landmark, specifically Brett and Donna, kept us informed of the progress and answered any questions that we had. We met Brett at the house during each phase of the project. We discussed electrical outlets, lighting, insulation, brick, heat/AC, cabinets: he was patient with us and answered all of our questions, even when I would think of something during the night and call him early in the morning. He never seemed to busy or bothered to talk to me or Michele.
While I saw houses all around us being built, it seemed like we were receiving individual attention. During the selection process, Michele never felt pressured to make decisions, and the process was made enjoyable by the Landmark Design Team. Michele would receive calls from Donna or Kaitlin asking about personal preferences in cabinetry or paint color and explaining options along the way. They even recommended that we go to some of Landmark Fine Homes other show homes, so we could see how a certain paint or tile would look before we actually chose anything. They were patient and always available to talk to us or explain any questions we had.
With many construction companies, we would imagine that once you have moved in that you are on your own. This is not the case with Landmark. They have continually followed up with us, checking our sprinkler system, AC and just checking to make sure we are happy. This type of service is rare in our world today. Finally, I want to say "Thank You" for making us feel like we were special and building us a home we always wanted.
Sincerely,
Todd and Michele
Many people might ask, "What is a CAD Operator?" According to Wikipedia, Computer Aided Drafting (CAD), is the use of computer systems to aid in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. CAD software is used to increase productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communication and create a database to help in the manufacturing of the home. So for you and me- The CAD Operator allows all the ideas we have in our head become a reality on paper. They are able to take a floor plan, move walls, add space and design a home that is going to fit my needs.
So Meet Jerry-
My Name is Jerry Arias, I am the CAD Operator
Ever since I can remember, I always dreamed of designing and building homes. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined working for an amazing company like Landmark Fine Homes. Every day is something new and exciting. No single plan we custom design with our customers looks alike. Every plan has a personal touch that makes it their own. There is no greater pleasure than seeing a customer happy in the design of their home!
Working for Landmark Fine Homes is something unique and peaceful. Everyone is important here and because of it, it shows in our service, design, work ethics and final product which is YOUR Home. Never have I thought I would love to work for a company as I do now. We all work in harmony from the moment a customer comes in to our model home, through the bid and design phase, to the building and completion of the home. Every day I come in to work it’s always with an anticipation of what will we design that day. Landmark Fine Homes is my second home.
Jerry has been such a great asset to our team and has allowed us to do even more customizing of floor plans. If you have a idea on changes you want to make- Jerry is the guy to get it done! Stop by any of our homes this week in Belleau Wood, Carrington Lakes, Little River Trails, The Springs at Greenleaf Trails, Montoro Ridge, The Preserve at Parkside, The Reserve at Valencia and Cascata Falls and let us know what you would like your next home to look like.
Have you walked into our Model Homes and wondered who was behind the design? What about being at a friends house that you know has NO design eye yet their home is beautiful and was built by Landmark Fine Homes?
Meet the Team that helps make those ideas into a reality!
Kim Kelley works with all of our customers in designing their homes. Kim has been with Landmark Fine Homes for 12 years. She loves being able to see everyone's ideas on style and what is important to them. "I feel like I learn as much from the customers as they get from me" said Kim. Kim loves the challenge of taking someone's ideas that they bring in from Pinterest, Houzz, or other designer websites and work to make them fit in their home design.
Amy and Kaitlin Reeves make up our team who design and decorate all the Model and Spec Homes. They have been designing since Landmark Fine Homes started in 2000. They both love being able to be creative, try new things and love to see the projects come together. There is nothing better that to have something start as an idea and see it completed. "I look everywhere for design ideas. I might be sitting in a restaurant, a doctors office or a commercial space and I will always notice the ceiling treatments, floor coverings and wall colors. I love taking one item and designing a room around it. One of my favorite shows years ago was Trading Spaces. I loved how they would be given one object and then were required to design a whole space around it." Functionality of a room is also critical for this team. Looking at a room and deciding how the space is going to be used is crucial in making a house into a home. Kaitlin fills her days with walking jobsite with superintendents and making sure all the details are in place to make the design what it was intended. She said, "There is nothing better than being in the field and watching the designs become a reality."
This is a team you can trust when you are building your next home. You don't need to worry about trying to make all the decisions alone. You will have the Design Team at Landmark Fine Homes to help guide you in creating the home of your dreams.

We were so excited to build for this sweet family!
Dale and I want to thank you for helping us work through the difficult task of building a custom home. We appreciate your knowledge, availability to discuss our concerns and questions through the process. We appreciate your honesty and commitment to only make promises you can keep. You are very patient and always have a calm demeanor which is important in a profession where all kinds of unexpected and challenging things can happen.
Landmark Fine Homes understands that it is not just a house but a home and a big emotional and financial investment. We have enjoyed getting to know you and will continue to work together.
Thank you for helping us achieve our vision for our home!
Another Tuesday and Another Testimony! We are so grateful for all the wonderful people who have trusted us to build not only their homes but who have become a part of our extended family. We often have people come into our model homes and say "All we have heard about building is that it is a nightmare!"
We are very committed to making sure that statement doesn't become a reality to any of our families. Since we have been building homes since 2000 we have a lot of experience in how to make the process as easy as possible. Each step is broken down so you do not have to make all the decisions at one time.
Hear what another one of our wonder families have to say:
We absolutely love our new home! It was a great and pleasant experience being able to build with Landmark Fine Homes. The process went very smoothly and was laid out very well. We would love to give a shout out to all of the folks who we were able to work with during construction:
Tim was great throughout the entire construction process. He made sure to meet with us at all of the major milestones and explain in detail what was going on, how certain things worked, and gave good visuals of what was about to or had just happened. If we ever had a concern and voiced it with Tim, he made sure proper corrections were made to our satisfaction and kept us informed of progress being made. He is very knowledgeable and willing to explain anything we had questions about. It was a great experience working with Tim and would work with him again in a heartbeat!
Jason was extremely helpful throughout the process as well. He was very thorough in going over our plans and very helpful with explaining house details. Jason also communicated very well and constantly followed up with us to find out if we needed anything or how progress was going. Anytime we spoke with Jason, he was upbeat and seemed to always have a smile on his face!
Kim was fantastic throughout the entire selection process. She had everything laid out for us which made it easy to pick everything out. If we ever had questions, she was able to find the answers. Her positive attitude and energy made it a lot of fun throughout the selection and construction process!
Again, it was a pleasure working with Landmark Fine Homes in building the home of our dreams! We are excited and cannot wait for the many years we plan to live in and enjoy our home. The team at Landmark Fine Homes throughout the entire process was very professional, positive, and energetic. We always felt we were being well taken care of and made a priority. Thank you all again!
We LOVE to get letters like this! Landmark Fine Homes has communities throughout the OKC Metro that we develop and build in. We also specialize in building on your own property. This is the case with this customer. Check out what they had to say:
I wanted to tell you about our recent building experience with Landmark Fine Homes. I will start at the beginning. We saved and planned out what we wanted for several years while paying off all our debt, including our acreage before beginning the process. We shopped around at the Parade of Homes and lots of open houses to get an idea of who we wanted to use for our builder.
That is where we met with Suzzanne. She showed us around several homes and recommended we look at the website for floor plans we liked. Then we met with her in many different neighborhoods while we pointed out what we liked and didn't like. She was very helpful in explaining how Landmark Fine Homes stands apart from other builders. We liked what we saw in quality and customer service. Suzanne was very patient with us, never pushing for a contract. She took several phone calls and answered all our questions. She met with us to walk us through a few model homes several times. We told her we wanted everything in writing and she made it happen. We had heard so many horror stories we tried to do everything right. She was wonderful! We decided to sign and she then set us up with Kim Kelley for all the details.
Kim answered so many emails and phone calls that I am sure she was happy when our build was complete. Again, we wanted everything in writing and wanted to make sure we were getting the best deals. We wanted to choose everything and not have anything decided for us. She made sure it happened. She even found a way to price match tile that I found much cheaper than she could. She was patient and helpful with suggestions. She even helped us compromise on paint colors, which I am sure she has to do often. Kim made a trip out to our house to meet us once because it was more convenient for us. We felt very comfortable with her.
Then we also had the pleasure of dealing with Tim. He was amazing! He answered numerous calls and text, even after hours. We had a vacation pre-planned before the build and he took time to email and text us pictures while we were gone of the progress. He offered suggestions on layout and moving walls or features that turned out perfect. Tim calmed us down when we stressed about the details and timelines. He helped me pull off a surprise for my husband. I had a custom painted bass fish tile made to be put on the front of the mailbox. He picked it up and got it installed then notified me so I could bring my husband over and show him. Tim also had a suggestion about the front of our island. It was going to be boring sheetrock, but he asked if we trusted him and wanted to do something to special. We did and it is awesome! He had the wood workers put wood in my favorite pattern, chevron, across the front! We have received numerous compliments on it. He loves his job and it really showed! There was a problem with our neighbors well and they tried to blame it on us and our new well. Tim talked to them calmly and explained it wasn't our fault. He even offered to have their sinks, toilets, and appliances cleaned from the muddy mess anyways. It turned out their well had an issue and they had it fixed. We received an apology, but I don't believe he ever did. We had problems with our sprinklers on the septic system. He sent the guys out numerous times. He texted me to see how it was going. He didn't like what they were telling me so he just showed up on site. Their attitudes changed immediately and it was fixed. The guys showed up a few weeks ago just to check things because Tim told them to.
Even though our build is over and we closed in December, Tim still looks out for us and makes sure we are happy. Even sending out a trim carpenter today to fix several doors that have swelled due to the humidity, which he had warned us would happen. He truly goes above and beyond! Suzzanne, Kim and Tim truly made our building experience a great one. We are very impressed with Landmark Fine Homes and their quality. You take care of your customers and know they could go anywhere else. Although we hope to never move or build again, we tell everyone we know that we love our house and that if they need a builder they need to choose Landmark Fine Homes. Not only Landmark, but ask for Suzzanne, Kim & Tim!
