Another Tuesday and Another Testimony! We are so grateful for all the wonderful people who have trusted us to build not only their homes but who have become a part of our extended family. We often have people come into our model homes and say "All we have heard about building is that it is a nightmare!"
We are very committed to making sure that statement doesn't become a reality to any of our families. Since we have been building homes since 2000 we have a lot of experience in how to make the process as easy as possible. Each step is broken down so you do not have to make all the decisions at one time.
Hear what another one of our wonder families have to say:
We absolutely love our new home! It was a great and pleasant experience being able to build with Landmark Fine Homes. The process went very smoothly and was laid out very well. We would love to give a shout out to all of the folks who we were able to work with during construction:
Tim was great throughout the entire construction process. He made sure to meet with us at all of the major milestones and explain in detail what was going on, how certain things worked, and gave good visuals of what was about to or had just happened. If we ever had a concern and voiced it with Tim, he made sure proper corrections were made to our satisfaction and kept us informed of progress being made. He is very knowledgeable and willing to explain anything we had questions about. It was a great experience working with Tim and would work with him again in a heartbeat!
Jason was extremely helpful throughout the process as well. He was very thorough in going over our plans and very helpful with explaining house details. Jason also communicated very well and constantly followed up with us to find out if we needed anything or how progress was going. Anytime we spoke with Jason, he was upbeat and seemed to always have a smile on his face!
Kim was fantastic throughout the entire selection process. She had everything laid out for us which made it easy to pick everything out. If we ever had questions, she was able to find the answers. Her positive attitude and energy made it a lot of fun throughout the selection and construction process!
Again, it was a pleasure working with Landmark Fine Homes in building the home of our dreams! We are excited and cannot wait for the many years we plan to live in and enjoy our home. The team at Landmark Fine Homes throughout the entire process was very professional, positive, and energetic. We always felt we were being well taken care of and made a priority. Thank you all again!
We LOVE to get letters like this! Landmark Fine Homes has communities throughout the OKC Metro that we develop and build in. We also specialize in building on your own property. This is the case with this customer. Check out what they had to say:
I wanted to tell you about our recent building experience with Landmark Fine Homes. I will start at the beginning. We saved and planned out what we wanted for several years while paying off all our debt, including our acreage before beginning the process. We shopped around at the Parade of Homes and lots of open houses to get an idea of who we wanted to use for our builder.
That is where we met with Suzzanne. She showed us around several homes and recommended we look at the website for floor plans we liked. Then we met with her in many different neighborhoods while we pointed out what we liked and didn't like. She was very helpful in explaining how Landmark Fine Homes stands apart from other builders. We liked what we saw in quality and customer service. Suzanne was very patient with us, never pushing for a contract. She took several phone calls and answered all our questions. She met with us to walk us through a few model homes several times. We told her we wanted everything in writing and she made it happen. We had heard so many horror stories we tried to do everything right. She was wonderful! We decided to sign and she then set us up with Kim Kelley for all the details.
Kim answered so many emails and phone calls that I am sure she was happy when our build was complete. Again, we wanted everything in writing and wanted to make sure we were getting the best deals. We wanted to choose everything and not have anything decided for us. She made sure it happened. She even found a way to price match tile that I found much cheaper than she could. She was patient and helpful with suggestions. She even helped us compromise on paint colors, which I am sure she has to do often. Kim made a trip out to our house to meet us once because it was more convenient for us. We felt very comfortable with her.
Then we also had the pleasure of dealing with Tim. He was amazing! He answered numerous calls and text, even after hours. We had a vacation pre-planned before the build and he took time to email and text us pictures while we were gone of the progress. He offered suggestions on layout and moving walls or features that turned out perfect. Tim calmed us down when we stressed about the details and timelines. He helped me pull off a surprise for my husband. I had a custom painted bass fish tile made to be put on the front of the mailbox. He picked it up and got it installed then notified me so I could bring my husband over and show him. Tim also had a suggestion about the front of our island. It was going to be boring sheetrock, but he asked if we trusted him and wanted to do something to special. We did and it is awesome! He had the wood workers put wood in my favorite pattern, chevron, across the front! We have received numerous compliments on it. He loves his job and it really showed! There was a problem with our neighbors well and they tried to blame it on us and our new well. Tim talked to them calmly and explained it wasn't our fault. He even offered to have their sinks, toilets, and appliances cleaned from the muddy mess anyways. It turned out their well had an issue and they had it fixed. We received an apology, but I don't believe he ever did. We had problems with our sprinklers on the septic system. He sent the guys out numerous times. He texted me to see how it was going. He didn't like what they were telling me so he just showed up on site. Their attitudes changed immediately and it was fixed. The guys showed up a few weeks ago just to check things because Tim told them to.
Even though our build is over and we closed in December, Tim still looks out for us and makes sure we are happy. Even sending out a trim carpenter today to fix several doors that have swelled due to the humidity, which he had warned us would happen. He truly goes above and beyond! Suzzanne, Kim and Tim truly made our building experience a great one. We are very impressed with Landmark Fine Homes and their quality. You take care of your customers and know they could go anywhere else. Although we hope to never move or build again, we tell everyone we know that we love our house and that if they need a builder they need to choose Landmark Fine Homes. Not only Landmark, but ask for Suzzanne, Kim & Tim!
Nothing makes us happier than to see people walk through our Model Home Doors, listen to what they want in their home and watch those dreams become a reality. Hands down this is the most important thing to Landmark Fine Homes. We recognize it is not just the brick and wood that goes into building a home but so much more. This is the setting where people do "Life" together-where memories are made, where people grow, where traditions are started and maintained. We LOVE being a part of this process for so many of our Home Owners. We will be featuring every Tuesday this month- Testimonial Tuesday. It is important to us that you hear from some of our Landmark Fine Homes Family of Homeowners how their experience went. This sweet family came to us and had those visions of what they wanted in their home. Hear what they have to say after being in their home for 4 months.
I wanted to send along a GIANT thank you to all of Landmark Fine Homes for building us the most wonderful house we could have possibly imagined! We have been in our house for about 4 months now and couldn't be happier.
This is our 3rd house we have bought new from a builder. This is the 1st time we were able to build one from the ground up. Our experience was just great. We could tell that we would be getting a much better product, in terms of quality and service and Landmark Fine Homes did not disappoint. We had nothing but a positive experience throughout the whole process.
I honestly believe our superintendent, Tim Carpenter, was a huge factor in providing that positive experience. He made it such an enjoyable process. We only had a couple of hiccups with our house and they were taken care of in a timely manner and correctly. He went above and beyond to make sure the house we wanted was what we moved into! And a little more than that. He offered great suggestions along the way on how to make the house even better or where we could save a few bucks. He KNOWS what he is doing.
We cannot thank Landmark enough for building such a beautiful home.
Yesterday we featured 3 of our communities that offer the Community Pools and Gathering Spaces. Today we will wrap up the other communities that offer these wonderful amenities!
Carrington Lakes located in Norman offers a Community Clubhouse, Pool, Walking Trails and Ponds. This community also has a Mom's Council that schedules events throughout the year. One of their biggest events is the 4th of July Parade. Everyone decorates bikes, golf carts and motorized cars and parade through the neighborhood. They end the event at the community clubhouse with water slides, bounce houses and snow cones. It is a great day for the whole family!
Little River Trails is serviced by Norman Schools. This NEW community has a Community Clubhouse with workout room, community pool and playground. It also has a walking trail that is follows the creek on the North side of the community.
Cascata Falls is a wonderful community in North Edmond. This community has it all- a community pool, clubhouse, ponds, playgrounds and basketball courts. If you haven't been to North Edmond this a community you will not want to miss!
As temperatures continue to rise everyone is looking for a place to cool off. You are in luck!! Several of Landmark Fine Homes communities come with the perfect spot to cool down- a Community Pool . That is right- you get the convenience of being able to relax without any of the burden of having to keep it clean! Most people when given the option to own a pool without the responsibility of upkeep jump at the chance. Not only does the pool allow for a place to cool off it allows for a place for the community to gather. As we speak with people everyday about their future hopes and dreams for where they want to live many speak of wanting to belong to a community where people look out for each other. A community pool along with playgrounds, walking trails, and ponds are all areas where that sense of community can start. We value that as well. That is why Landmark Fine Homes offers these amenities in communities we develop and build in.
The Springs at Greenleaf Trails in Norman offers a Community Clubhouse, Workout room, Pool, Walking Trails, Community Pond and Monthly gatherings.
The Reserve at Valencia which is serviced by Edmond Public Schools offers playgrounds, ponds, walking trails, a community cabana and pool.
The Preserve at Parkside located in Moore Schools offers several Community Ponds with catch and release fishing as well as access to South Lakes Park.
Check back tomorrow to see all the other communities Landmark Fine Homes offers and all the amenities in each of them!
This Friday begins the Festival of Homes. Landmark Fine Homes loves being a part of the Builders Association of South Central Oklahoma. We will be featuring 3 homes in the Norman area.
The first home is located in The Springs at Green Leaf Trails. This is a gated community that is located off of Tecumseh just west of Porter. The homes in this community range 1600-2400 square feet. The homes include upscale amenities with just a smaller footprint. What is even more wonderful about this community is all the amenities it has. You will enjoy the Community Clubhouse that has a workout room, gathering area and community pool. This is a community that has regular gatherings which usually focuses around FOOD! The community pond is stocked with fish and is surrounded by walking trails. If you asked the homeowners in this community what they liked the most I am sure you would hear them say- "We don't have to mow our lawn! " That is one feature that is loved by all!
At Landmark Fine Homes we believe in custom building YOUR home and not OUR home. With that being said, we do notice trends that come and go. Is the latest trend what everyone wants in their home? Absolutely not! That is why we try to build Spec Homes that showcase several different styles.
Some of the latest trends are the Farmhouse Design Style. We know many people have started following the popular HGTV show- Fixer Upper. Chip and Joanna Gaines showcase weekly how they incorporate this style into their designs. Farmhouse Design has its own character and showcases simple organic items, light colors. simple lines and details. It showcases natural wood, fireplaces, beamed ceilings.
Farmhouse sinks have become popular as well. Our Carrington Lakes Model showcases several of these design qualities.
What design style are you currently liking?
