What Are Some Community Activities?

Community is Important

Whether you are a youngster, just started your family or are an esteemed senior member of our community, staying active is important. It’s even better when you can involve yourself in the community, get to know your neighbors and maybe even do some good for Oklahoma City neighborhoods. Here at Landmark Fine Homes, we are active in the communities of Oklahoma City—and we’re not just talking about our work building custom homes. Community involvement is very important to us, which is why we wanted to share some of our favorite community activities with you. Who knows, maybe you’ll get inspired to get out there and join us for some of them. And of course, if you ever want to discuss building a custom home, you can get in touch with us here!

Our Favorite Community Activities

One of the problems for us is that there are too many good examples of community activities in Oklahoma City. There is a lot going on in this thriving metropolis but there is only so little time. So, we wanted to focus on some of the community activities that we have helped create. Here are 5 of our favorite community activities examples:

  • Community Gardening - Community gardening at The Springs at Skyline Trails was built from desire to design a community around a healthy lifestyle. So, we built raised gardening beds into the beautiful common area of The Springs at Skyline Trails community. Now, community members can come and work in the garden and grow their favorite fruits and vegetables.
  • Thankmas Party - We host an annual holiday party to benefit a local charity.  Toys are collected to give to those in need.   This is one of the favorite events we host each year.  It is a great time for our Trade Partners to come together with our team, eat great food, get your pictures with Santa while helping a great cause.
  • Back to School Event - Every year Landmark Fine Homes gives back during the back-to-school season. Whether it’s by nominating outstanding local teachers or hosting school supply drives at our model homes, this is a great way to enrich your community.
  • Parade of Homes - Many of our homes have been featured in the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association Annual Parade of Homes. We invite you to come out, say hello, meet up with friends and neighbors and maybe even tour a home!

Building Stronger Communities

Community involvement is very important to us here at Landmark Fine Homes. Whether we are building strong communities home by home or simply socializing, we think Oklahoma City is a great place to live and thrive. We hope you will join us in some of these and other community activities and if you are ready to build the home of your dreams, call on us!
